According to the maximum the largest imports cotton on a tariff of 40% from 11397 yuan/ton increase to 14000 yuan/ton, the China cotton association said. Import prices higher than 14000 yuan/ton, will be in accordance with the 570 yuan/ton of unified tax rate  .

South China futures analysts in hangzhou FuXiaoYan by telephone said: "the revision part of the purpose is to ensure that cheap imports will not compete with local cotton, this is because the import of cotton production than local cotton cheaper.

In zhengzhou Commodity Exchange, 10 PM local time 19 points in May, the delivery price cotton futures rose 1.4% to 20650 yuan/ton.  In New York state border futures exchange, march delivery cotton prices rose 1.4% to 86.29 cents per lb.

Our country the November cotton import to 378200 tons, almost three times as much as a year ago.
